MENJEJAKI KHAZANAH BANDAR TAIPING (KEDAMAIAN), BANDAR WARISAN MELALUI CITARASA SENDIRI.
Taiping Market is made up of two buildings, one built in 1884 (the Old Market) and the other in 1885 (the New Market). The structures are of timber post and truss with concrete floors and iron roofs. The buildings are said to be 220 feet long by 60 feet wide.
The Taiping Market buildings are fine examples of 19th century market buildings and are still used today.
